MONÉ - 2022

MONÉ, MELODIC AND ECLECTIC, BUT COMMITED FIRST!

On this already acclaimed album, Valerie collaborated with Guy NWOGANG, drummer/percussionist and producer of renown at the origin of the rhythmic work and at the realization of several tracks of this daring project. The power of this album lies in the human richness and the multitude of talented musicians who participated in it such as James BKS, Flavia Coelho, Delia Fisher, Kareyce Fotso and more.

The Cameroonian singer loudly proclaims her refusal of inequality and injustice through committed tracks.

“Monè is an eclectic record, but its melodic lightness does not alter its purpose. It is time to say what we sadly see repeated. The protest is an indignation. Valérie Ekoumè is convinced of this” – RFI, April 2022.
